Kish Island in Iran trying to rebuild tourism

Kish Island in Iran is set to promote tourism and has the potential of being a much visited destination in the future. There are plans of developing the  Island of Kish in the Persian Gulf to
attract tourists to the modern city of Iran.


While several big construction projects are being developed at the Free Zone Island, a number of construction workers, architects and engineers celebrated the inauguration ceremony of one of the giant projects that was held in the Island few days ago.


The 888 thousand square meter project include a luxury hotel , a residential complex, food courts, a yachting dock, ice skating rink, a Golf course, movie theater, several and conference halls. Since its rebirth from an abandoned Island two decades ago Kish has shown significant progress.

The experts believe that Kish Island could look into a future with more attractions for tourists and more money for investors.

Some 210 Iranian and international tourism representatives flocked to Iran’s seventh International Exhibition of Hotel, Travel and Tourism Services and Equipments held few days ago.

The participated agencies presented diverse range of products and services and introduced their latest achievements and techniques in tourism. Iran enjoys exceptional geographical location among the countries across the globe and a strategic point as it is located at the connection center between east, west, south and north. A city rich in its cultural heritage Persia or Iran pioneers of the global civilization.
