Thai Airways flight makes emergency landing at Bangkok International Airport

A Thai Airways plane heading to one of the popular tourist resort island of Koh Samui had to turn back and make an emergency landing due to a problem in the landing gear.



The Flight TG 281 encountered a problem with the landing gear soon after taking off. The captain of the plane declared an emergency and had to return the plane to the Bangkok International Airport. The plane landed safely with no incidents reported.


The Thai Airways plane took off at 07:45 am local time last day and was heading to the Koh Samui Island with holidaymakers going to the popular tourist resort island. The landing gear is under investigation as latest reports from the airways reveal that the plane is under the surveillance of engineers.


The passengers onboard the plane were accommodated on another flight according to the sources.
