Workshop on introducing New Zealand’s tourism

In the framework of Vietnam International Travel Mart 2014 (VITM Ha Noi 2014), on 3rd March 2014, New Zealand Embassy in Ha Noi held a workshop on introducing New Zealand’s tourism.


 In attendance were Mr. Nguyen Manh Cuong – Deputy Director General of Vietnam National Administration of Tourism; Mr. Vu The Binh – Vice Chairman of Vietnam Tourism Association, Head of Organizing Committee of VITM Ha Noi 2014; Mr. Hiker Mainning – New Zealand Ambassador and representatives of travel agencies of New Zealand and Vietnam.


Speaking at the workshop, Mr. Hiker Mainning hoped that through the workshop, participants would understand more about New Zealand country and people and tourism businesses of the two countries would enhance the exchange of information and experience to further promote tourism of both sides.
 
Some New Zealand’s destinations were introduced in the workshop as North Island, South Island, Wellington Capital, Auckland City, Rotorua, Dunedin… Besides, tourism businesses of New Zealand also provided information about their various preferential programs for Vietnamese businesses.
