“Gold” and “Platinum” hotels can now be identified on accorhotels.com

accorhotels
Guests who are looking for a place to stay for business or leisure and who wish to find a friendly environment hotel can already identify hotels that are certified with an external label of
management or construction (ISO 14001, HQE, LEED, BREEAM, DGNB) on accorhotels.

These hotels are identified with a small pictogram “21″ that appears on the search page and on the hotel’s fact sheet.

A text message “Sustainable Certified” appears on mouse-over.

Accor goes further. Now, hotels which have reached the “Gold” or the “Platinum” level of the Charter 21 are marked with this pictogram (see box for more explanation on the Charter 21).

“Gold” and “Platinum” hotels guarantee a high level of sustainable development performance to guests, for example: the use of eco-designed materials in rooms, the advanced waste recycling, more advanced equipment for a better water and energy management …

This distinction on accorhotels.com covers 40 “Platinum” hotels and 450 “Gold” hotels worldwide.

This innovative approach demonstrates Accor’s involvement in meeting the guest needs and contributes to mobilize the teams in the achievement of the PLANET 21 commitments.
