MICE confrence to expand to Phuket incentive market

MICE
PHUKET: It as been proved beyond any doubt that the Phukret’s growing MICE (meetings, incentives, conferences and exhibitions) market is a key segment which can help the islands attract
quality visitors. On March 14 the American Chamber of Commerce (AMCHAM) has organized a tourism event at Angsana Laguna Phuket focusing on how to sustainably grow MICE business along with the British Chamber of Commerce Thailand (BCCT) and the Australian-Thai Chamber of Commerce (AustCham).

A series of presentations from the Thailand Convention and Exhibition Bureau (TCEB), Global Business Travel Association (GBTA) and the private sector will lead on into an open session during which the audience will be able to exchange ideas with the speakers and other tourism industry members in attendance..

Shine PR’s Natasha Eldred will serve as moderator. The event is open to the public and presents a tremendous opportunity for those associated with hotels, tourism and the service industry to learn more about Phuket’s MICE sector and how this important segment can contribute to the island’s focus in generating quality visitors versus quantity.
