Barbados boutique hotel makes the world a better place

Being responsible means that our chef sources local fresh produce, all our staff members are local Bajans, eco-friendly practices, such as composting, reducing, reusing, and recycling are implemented throughout the property.”


The team at Little Arches does all within their power to conserve the natural eco systems and habitats, with special concerns for the near shore environment and coral reefs. Beach clean-ups and educational seminars, raising awareness for environmental concerns, are organized by the hotel on a regular basis.


“Giving Back” is part of the philosophy at Little Arches, and the hotel works closely with the Variety Club of Barbados, dedicated to supporting the sick, disadvantaged and disabled children of Barbados and the Eastern Caribbean. The charity provides sunshine coaches for the Children`s Development Center, The Chancellor School, The Ursaline Schools, and the Sunshine Early Stimulation Center in Barbados.


Little Arches is a proud member of the “Pack for a Purpose” initiative, which encourages travelers to utilize space in their luggage to provide supplies to the communities they visit. “Small Space, Little Effort, Big Impact” – travelers can check on the specific needs requested by community projects to choose exactly what to pack for a purpose, and to express gratitude to the local community with the supplies they bring.
