MH 370 cargo was carrying highly flammable batteries – CEO Malaysia Airlines

In a shocking revelation from the CEO of Malaysia Airlines a new theory behind a probable mid-air crash of the flight 370 has come up. Highly inflammable Lithium-ion batteries in the cargo might have caused a
sudden fire according to the latest speculation.

As the comprehensive search for the last two weeks failed to track any debris of the Boeing aircraft and investigators failing to state any clue of the missing airplane, the chance of on-air fire has popped up. The CEO of Malaysia Airlines has admitted that the missing airliner was carrying highly inflammable lithium batteries that could have caused a deadly mid-air fire.

On March 21, Ahmad Jauhari, the CEO of Malaysia Airlines confirmed that the missing jet cargo contained highly flammable lithium-ion batteries – although he denied the possibility of the fire onboard. This shocking admission has sparked speculation that a sudden fire may have caused Malaysia Airlines Flight 370′s mysterious disappearance.

Ahmad’s admission supports the theory that the missing flight’s 239 passengers and crew members may have been knocked unconscious by the toxic fumes of an on-board fire.

It wouldn’t be the first time something like that has happened. Lithium-ion batteries, which are used in mobile phones and laptops, have caused multiple plane fires and have even brought down aircraft in the past.
Batteries of this kind carried in the cargo or baggage have caused more than 140 incidents between March 1991 and February 17, 2014, according to the U.S. Federal Aviation Administration. Two cargo planes have even been destroyed by fires started by lithium-ion batteries.

The Aviation experts and the investigators are still trying to solve the mysterious disappearance of Malaysia Airlines flight 370. More than a dozen ships and aircraft have been sent in to locate the objects, but the search teams have not yet found any further signs of the downed plane.
