Germany issues a travel warning to Egypt

Sinai bus explosion in Egypt
The catastrophic bus bombing that killed three in Egypt’s Sinai is keeping the travellers sceptical about travelling to Egypt. Germany has recently issued a travel warning for travellers to
Sinai after the bus bombing killed three tourists and the driver.

The local media and the recent reports suggest that the Islamic militants are stepping up attacks to hurt the tourism industry of Egypt. The travel warning advises tourists to book an early return.

The Foreign Ministry issued the travel warning late Wednesday urging tourists to avoid all parts of the peninsula, including Red Sea resorts. Germany is a top source of tourists for Egypt, and its Red Sea coast is a popular destination for German tourists seeking sunshine during Europe’s winter months.
