United plane makes a mysterious emergency landing in Hawaii

emergency-landing1
Tourists and passengers onboard the United Flight 1221 witnessed a scary emergency landing due to some unknown reason. The United flight 1221 took off from Honolulu, Hawaii and was
headed to Los Angeles, California. The flight had to turn back mid way and make an emergency landing where it was met by Honolulu fire trucks.

The latest reports suggest that the plane got too heavy and there was a strange smell when the alarm went off. Moreover, according to the passengers the cabin pressure was lost as well.

The Honolulu Fire Department was onboard to investigate the aircraft. United described the emergency landing as a “heavy landing”. All passengers were requested to vacate the plane and have since been told they are now scheduled to board at 3 pm Hawaii Standard Time.

As the locals in Hawaii say, “Only in Hawaii” – the passengers were greeted with a lovely young gate agent at Gate 15. She empathized with the passengers and hugged everyone before they boarded the rescheduled flight to Los Angeles.
