Sahara dust will increase pollution level in UK in the next few days

Sahara dust
The government of UK has warned its people that a very high level of dust from the Sahara desert will blow into the UK increasing its pollution level in the next few days.

The pollution level is said to be very high on Wednesday 02.04.14. A combination of light south-easterly winds and continental air flow and dust arising from the Sahara desert will be responsible for pollution level to rise.

In Norfolk pollution level hit 10, which suggests a warning. The pollution level could reach 9 in parts of southern England and Wales.

People having lung problems especially adults and children should avoid physical activity and those with asthma may need to use their inhalers more often.  The high pollution will affect East Anglia and the Midlands on Thursday. But the pollution level is likely to decrease by Friday, April 6

The dust particles found settled on cars are of red colour and are airborne particles of dust which were blown north to the UK where they combined with warm air and were deposited during showers.
