A small plane travelling from Austin crashed near Pearland airport near Houston, officials have told the Federal Aviation Administration. The plane reportedly crashed while attempting to
land at the Pearland Regional Airport. The pilot of the plane is feared to be dead.

According to reports, the two-engine aircraft tried to land once but failed and was hovering around for some time. While trying to land again, it crash landed on the ground. The plane was flying from Austin to Galveston’s Scholes International Airport when the pilot diverted to Pearland due to low visibility in Galveston.

Other than the pilot there weren’t any passengers on board.
