“We are committed to becoming the best U.S. airline in Latin America and investing on product upgrades such as full-flat bed seats is one of the ways to achieve our goal. The updates to our B767-300 to Lima underscore our steadfast commitment to bring our customers a superior travel experience,” said Rodrigo Bertola, Delta’s regional manager for Hispanic South America. “Our BusinessElite customers can now increase their rest quality or simply relax and enjoy while watching on demand entertainment. All of our flat-bed seats have direct aisle access and give customers more privacy to work or rest on their way to and from Lima.”
As part of the ongoing improvements to its inflight experience, Delta announced in February its transformation of the sleep experience in the air by offering Westin Heavenly InFlight® bedding designed and manufactured exclusively for Delta, in all of its BusienssElite cabins throughout the world. Additionally, Delta introduced its new amenity kit from Malin+Goetz and Tumi. Delta premium cabin customers already enjoy industry-leading food and wine with Latin-inspired meal selections by Chef Michelle Bernstein and elegant wines chosen by Master Sommelier Andrea Robinson along with a variety of digital entertainment options and premium pillows and quilted duvets. The airline invested US$3 billion in product, airport terminals and services during the last two years.
Through Atlanta Delta’s hub, Peruvian travelers can connect with the more than 930 daily flights to 205 destinations that Delta operates, including nonstop service to 61 international destinations, offering also the most convenient connections especially in the Lima-Tokyo route, one of preferred international destination for customers traveling from Peru. Seeking to improve customers’ experience both in flight and on the ground, Delta has made a major investment at Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport with a new international terminal, which opened in spring 2012 and features full signage in Spanish through the airport.
