Concern for tourists over radioactive water leak at Fukushima plant

fukushima
Concern over the Fukushima Daiichi nuclear plant has once again come into focus with highly radioactive water leakage detected inside Unit 3 Reactor of the plant. The water is leaking into
the ocean and causing danger to the marine ecology and is being treated with stern criticism from the international community.

The video filmed by a remote control robot at the Fukushima plant shows highly radioactive water, which is speculated to have leaked from the reactor. Speculations are on that the water may contain high levels of radioactive cesium and cobalt. However, the company claimed that the water hasn’t leaked outside the building. Investigations are on to detect the possible cause of the leakage.

Fukushima is in the news for some time since the leakage of radiation-contaminated water which posed a major threat to Japan’s environment, population and international community. This too can be a major threat if immediate actions are not taken.
