Peru to show up as mega-diverse destination for luxury tourists in Spain

Peru’s tourism and export agency PromPeru is geared up to attend the upcoming International Tourism Fair of Catalonia in Spain. PromPeru said that it will showcase a new tourism offer based
on nature, health and well-being during the April 4-6 event in the Spain’s capital at the Montjuïc Exhibition Centre.


The agency said that its main objective is to further promote Peru as a mega-diverse country able to compete with other major destinations in the world. It also said that the country’s national reserves and protected areas will have a leading role during the event.


“Peru will show up as a mega-diverse destination where luxury tourism is present in places such as the Amazon, one of the New Seven Wonders of Nature”, Promperu said in a statement.


According to the event organizers, the three-day event will showcase exciting travel destinations from over 1000 exhibitors from 60 countries around the world.
