Flight 1091 taking off from Lambert Airport to Kansas City with 102 passengers, on Monday hit a bird, and made an emergency landing back at Lambert Airport. The bird was
sucked into the right engine and passengers felt the impact and smelled smoke.
However, no one was injured and all passengers were taken on a different plane to Kansas City around 7 p.m. Monday.
Without any additional problems, the flight arrived in Kansas City around 8:20 p.m.
